Banner Engineering DF-G1 General-Purpose Fiber Optic Amplifiers are advanced sensors with dual digital displays for use with plastic and glass fiber optic assemblies. The easy-to-read displays show signal level and threshold simultaneously. Banner DF-G1 Fiber Optic Amplifiers offer response speeds as fast as 200µs. Models with IO-Link enable a point-to-point communication link between a master device and a sensor, facilitating remote monitoring, teaching, and configuration.

Fiber Optic Sensor Solutions

Banner Engineering Fiber Optic Sensor Solutions are versatile sensors ideal for use in space-constrained and harsh environments. These sensors can also handle a lack of power at the sensing location. The amplifier, or sensor, emits, receives, and converts light energy into an electrical signal. Individual fiber-optic assemblies guide light from the amplifier to a sensing location or from the sensing location back to the amplifier. The small size and flexibility of fiber optics allow these Banner sensor solutions to be positioned and mounted in tight spaces. The fibers can be designed to withstand high moisture or corrosive materials and are immune to electrical noise.
