STEC01 Ground Path Safety Switch

STMicroelectronics STEC01 Ground Path Safety Switch features an integrated programmable 12mΩ power switch managed by the timer-based circuitry. The STMicroelectronics STEC01 offers three timers designed to interrupt the ground path of a power application. This is after a maximum on-time which restrains the restart of the platform during a cooling window. Additional features include a maximum on-time that can be set from a few seconds to hundreds of seconds and a cooling window that can be programmed to 1, 5, and 20 minutes. Timing can be set using three multi-level input pins, joined with a programmable oscillator and a fixed oscillator.
