Silent Switcher® Solutions for EMI Compliance

Analog Devices Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) compliance is often mandatory and a critical design challenge for medical, automotive, test, and measurement equipment manufacturers. For example, if a device fails EMI compliance, it not only creates a long design cycle, it also increases cost as a result of re-design and re-evaluation for EMI compliance. To overcome these challenges, Analog Devices offers Silent Switcher® Architecture which minimizes the risk of problems caused by EMI, making µModule® Regulators and Discrete DC-DC ideal for noise-sensitive applications.

LTM8024 Demo Board (DC1868A)

Analog Devices LTM8024 Demo Board (DC1868A) is a dual step-down DC/DC switching converter featuring the LTM8024 μModule regulator. The demo board is designed to deliver dual 5V/3A and 3.3V/3A outputs from a 7V to 40V input. Silent Switcher® architecture minimizes EMI while achieving high efficiency at frequencies up to 3MHz. The modes of operation (Burst Mode or Discontinuous Mode/SYNC) are jumper selectable. Burst Mode operation improves efficiency at light loads.
