TPS56x24x Synchronous Step-Down Converters

Texas Instruments TPS56x24x Synchronous Step-Down Converters are easy-to-use, high-power-density, synchronous buck converters with an input voltage range of 3V to 17V. The simple, high-efficiency converters support up to 2A or 3A continuous output current at output voltages between 0.6V and 10V. The TPS56x24x series employs D-CAP3™ control mode to support low-ESR output capacitors and provide a fast transient response without requiring external compensation. The devices can support up to 95% duty cycle operation. The TPS562242B and TPS563242 operate in eco-mode, which maintains high efficiency during light loading. The TPS563247 operates in FCCM mode, which maintains low output ripple and the same frequency across all load conditions. Texas Instruments TPS56x24x devices are available in a 1.6mm x 1.6mm SOT-563 package with a junction temperature of –40°C to +125°C.
