Hexiwear Wearable Development Kit

MikroElektronika Hexiwear Wearable Development Kit is a Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) device that can be used to create a smartwatch, remote sensor tag or smarthome controller. This do-anything device is compact with the style and usability of a high-end device all in one development kit. The Hexiwear is powered by the Kinetis K64 32-bit ARM® Cortex®-M4 MCU with several NXP sensors. This expandable board is packed with a 3D accelerometer and magnetometer, 3-axis digital gyroscope, pressure sensor and 600mA battery charger. The Hexiwear has a capacitive touch interface 1.1" full-colour OLED display. Functionality can be expanded with the docking station and the ever-growing line of click boards. An application for Android and iOS connects the device to the cloud without the need for additional software development. Hexiwear uses FreeRTOS, the Kinetis software development kit (SDK) and the Kinetis Design Studio IDE.
