KEMET Multilayer Piezoelectric Actuators

KEMET Multilayer Piezoelectric Actuators are based on a proprietary element-structure design and piezoelectric ceramic materials with high electrostrictive coefficients. These actuators are smaller than conventional piezoelectric actuators but can produce greater displacements and forces at low voltages. KEMET Multilayer Piezoelectric Actuators feature 150VDC maximum driving voltage, ±20% capacitance tolerance, and insulation resistance of 1MΩ or higher. The actuator lineup includes the AE, AER, AL, and AS series as resin-coated products and the AHB, ASB, and ASL series, which are metal-sealed to better protect against ambient humidity, providing higher performance and an extended operational lifetime.
