Microchip Technology AVR® LA AVR32LA14/20/28/32 Microcontrollers
Microchip Technology AVR® LA AVR32LA14/20/28/32 Microcontrollers are entry-level AVR LA MCUs built for capacitive touch interface and low-power embedded applications. The devices utilize an AVR CPU with a hardware multiplier, running at clock speeds up to 20MHz, and are available in 14-, 20-, 28-, and 32-pin package options.
The AVR LA family combines flexible low-power architecture with an Event System, accurate analog subsystems, advanced digital peripherals, and a Peripheral Touch Controller. The Microchip AVR LA AVR32LA14/20/28/32 MCUs support capacitive touch buttons, sliders, wheels, and 2D surfaces with Driven Shield+ and Boost Mode technologies, helping designers create responsive touch-based interfaces across compact embedded systems.
The MCUs are ideal for wearable devices, consumer electronics, home automation, industrial and medical equipment controls, battery-powered sensors, and automotive HMI applications. The AVR LA supports a wide operating voltage range, integrated serial communication interfaces, configurable custom logic, and AEC-Q100 Grade 1 and functional safety-ready design support.
