ZZZ-Amphenol TPC Accessories
Amphenol TPC Accessories cover a range of products, including Vulko-Wrap™ cable tape, 6:1 shrink tubing, Kord-Gard® strain reliefs, and Grip-Seals® cable glands. The Vulko-Wrap lineup features reinforced wrap and self-vulcanizing insulating wrap, both made with a specially compounded, synthetic silicone elastomer that resists oil, water, ozone, and chemicals over a temperature range from -51°C to +204°C. These adhesive-free wraps require no heat, become fully bonded in 24 hours, remain pliable over time, and are easy to remove. The Amphenol TPC 6:1 shrink tubing offers a heavy-duty design that easily fits over and seals large, bulky connections from 1.7" to 4.7". The inner adhesive offers excellent strain relief, added tensile strength, and a watertight seal.
Both the Kord-Gard aluminum mesh strain reliefs and Grip-Seals aluminum cable glands feature an aluminum compression bushing and a threaded body that resist corrosion and weathering at temperatures up to +121°C. Meanwhile, the Grip-Seals nylon cable glands use a nylon friction ring for uniform compression, preventing bushing damage and providing a tight, uniform seal on the cord surface to seal out chemicals, oil, and other contaminants.
