Vishay / BC Components MDSA Axial Leaded Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors are axial leaded MLCCs developed for automotive motor and sensor designs. The capacitors support demanding vehicle applications with AEC-Q200 qualification, PPAP availability, and electrical options for Class 1 C0G and Class 2 X7R dielectrics. MDSA capacitors combine an axial mounting style with mechanical stress relief to support reliable assembly and operation. These capacitors use 100% tinned copper-clad steel leads and a blue flame-retardant epoxy resin coating rated to UL 94V-0, improving durability in harsh automotive environments. Vishay / BC Components MDSA capacitors are available with capacitance values from 10pF to 1µF and rated voltages of 50VDC, 100VDC, and 200VDC. The series operates from -55°C to +125°C, suitable for automotive motor drivers, speed sensors, wiper motors, and power window motors.
