Bourns SM91572AL BMS Transformer

Bourns SM91572AL Battery Management Systems (BMS) Transformer is an AEC-Q200-compliant, automotive-grade, and single-channel functional insulation BMS signal transformer. This transformer integrates common-mode chokes to provide noise rejection and solid isolation in BMS communication circuits. The integrated common mode chokes eliminate the need for external filtering components, resulting in a shorter BOM for automotive and energy storage BMS designs. The SM91572AL BMS transformer features a Hi-Pot isolation voltage up to 3000VAC, 1000VDC working voltage, and pin auto-termination. This transformer supports serial daisy-chain and IsoSPI communication and is developed for use with Analog Devices’ LTC681x, NXP’s MC33771/MC33772, and Texas Instruments’ BQ79616 devices. The SM91572AL BMS transformer is ideal for BMS in hybrid and electric powertrain systems and energy storage battery packs with BMS.
