Panasonic Industry AQZ10xD & AQZ20xD High Capacity PhotoMOS®

Panasonic Industry AQZ10xD and AQZ20xD Voltage Sensitive High Capacity PhotoMOS® are relays with a slim SIL 4-pin package (21.0mm x 3.5mm x 12.5mm) for high-density mounting. The modules feature a space-saving design, low on-resistance (0.033Ω typical), high sensitivity, and AC/DC dual or DC-only types. The AC/DC dual type offers bidirectional control, and unlike conventional SSRs, does not have to be used differently depending on the load. The DC-only type is ideal for controlling DC solenoids and DC motors. The high-capacity relays switch currents and voltages while controlling loads, from small to 2.7A maximum for the AC/DC dual type and 3.6A maximum for the DC-only type. The conventional power PhotoMOS series is connected externally to an input limiting resistor to obtain the appropriate LED current. With the addition of an internal constant-current element, the input-limiting resistor is unnecessary, enabling the Panasonic PhotoMOS to be voltage-driven.
