Renesas Electronics RAJ240055 R-BMS F Evaluation Kit
Renesas Electronics RAJ240055 R-BMS F Evaluation Kit is a 2 to 4S cell (~8V to 16V) solution designed for small vacuum cleaners, robotic vacuums, and consumer and medical devices. The kit is powered by the RAJ240055 Li-ion battery FGIC, a 2 to 4 Series Li-ion Battery Fuel Gauge IC that combines separate MCU and AFE blocks in a single package to achieve various battery protection and management operations.
The Renesas RAJ240055 R-BMS F Evaluation Kit features an evaluation module (RTK0EF0163DK02BU), a USB System Management Bus (SMBus), and an interface adaptor that evaluates the battery management system employing the RAJ240055 Li-ion battery Fuel Gauge IC (FGIC). Furthermore, the kit includes R-BMS F firmware, which is fixed and easy-to-use software that needs no additional development and has user-configurable settings for specifying the different thresholds of the device. The evaluation kit allows a seamless transition from evaluation to customer qualification without requiring firmware development.
