Diodes Inc. DML1012ALDSQ Single-Channel Smart Load Switch offers a very low on-resistance in a small package. It contains an N-channel MOSFET for up to VBIAS = 1.5V input-voltage operation and a 6A channel with a 3.2V to 5.5V bias supply. A low-voltage control signal controls the DML1012ALDSQ Smart Load Switch through the ON pin. The device is ideal for reliable power sequencing and power rail control in automotive applications, including advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), infotainment platforms, and display clusters.
The DML1012ALDSQ smart load switch supports an input voltage range of 0.8V to 4V, making it suitable for a wide variety of subsystem power rail applications. Its ultra-low RDS(ON) of 8mΩ (max.) reduces conduction losses and helps minimize heat generation. With a low junction-to-case thermal resistance (RθJC) of 8°C/W, the device can deliver up to 6A of continuous output current. Additionally, the enable pin supports accurate, microcontroller-controlled power sequencing.

An integrated quick-output discharge function ensures rapid discharge of the downstream circuitry during shutdown.
