Sensata Technologies A+P PyroFuse Pyrotechnic Circuit Breaker
Sensata Technologies Active + Passive (A+P) PyroFuse Pyrotechnic Circuit Breaker combines both active and integrated passive triggering in a high-voltage safety solution, providing independent, fast-acting protection in a single device. The passive mechanism uses an integrated electromechanical trigger that ensures rapid interruption even in less severe overcurrent events. In the event of a short circuit, internal failure, or accident, the A+P PyroFuse quickly disconnects the load to help protect high-voltage systems and reduce fire and electrical shock risks. This STP500P series circuit breaker offers fast disconnect times, high breaking capacity, excellent post-isolation resistance, and 500A continuous current carrying capability. Sensata Technologies A+P PyroFuse Pyrotechnic Circuit Breaker features a lightweight, compact design within a fully enclosed housing that prevents gas release during interruptions.
