The AP3304A PWM controller minimizes standby power consumption by operating in burst mode at light load with a 23 kHz switching frequency, delivering power efficiency for AC/DC adapter-chargers and ATX/BTX auxiliary power supplies. The robust IC boasts a range of protection features, including brownout protection, cycle-by-cycle current limit, and VCC overvoltage protection. The AP3304A is an ideal choice for switching AC/DC power chargers and power supplies for set-top boxes.
