ADF4401A Translation Loop Module

Analog Devices Inc. ADF4401A Translation Loop Module is a fully integrated System-in-Package (SiP) offset module with an RF output frequency ranging from 62.5MHz to 8GHz. This module includes a Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) and calibration Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) circuit. This solution reduces board space and complexity compared to traditional discrete translation loop solutions designed on a Printed Circuit Board (PCB). The ADF4401A translation loop module provides a frequency synthesis solution for engineers designing highly competitive systems. This module requires an external phase detector or Phase-Frequency Detector (PFD) and an external Local Oscillator (LO) to form a frequency synthesis solution. Typical applications include instrumentation and measurement, automated test equipment, aerospace, and defense.

RF Solutions

Analog Devices offers components that cover the complete high speed and RF signal chain. The portfolio enables design engineers to develop platform electronic test and measurement systems that have best-in-class performance and low cost of test and ownership across an ever increasing frequency range from DC to > 100GHz and beyond. As the preeminent supplier of data converters, RF and microwave ICs, Analog Devices provides more than 2,000 high performance products across the entire frequency spectrum.
