Infineon Technologies PSOC™ (Programmable System-on-Chip) is a programmable embedded design platform that integrates discrete analog and programmable logic, memory, and a microcontroller. Easy-to-use software tools, like the PSOC Creator Integrated Design Environment, simplify the design and debugging of analog front ends and digital glue logic while accelerating complete system designs. The PSOC comes in four MCU options for 8-bit and 32-bit applications, ranging from the cost-optimized 8-bit M8C to the high-performance ARM Cortex-M3.

Programmable System-on-Chip (PSOC™ 1)

Infineon Technologies Programmable System-on-Chip (PSOC™ 1) family consists of modules designed to replace multiple traditional MCU-based system components with a single cost-effective, single-chip programmable device. The Infineon PSOC devices include configurable blocks of analog and digital logic and programmable interconnects. This architecture enables the user to create customized peripheral configurations that match the requirements of each individual application. Additionally, a fast CPU, Flash program memory, SRAM data memory, and configurable IO are included in a range of convenient pinouts and packages.

Infineon Technologies unveils a revolutionary Programmable System-On-Chip™ (PSoC™) mixed-signal array that is a complete system-level solution with configurable digital and analog peripherals, an 8-bit microcontroller, and three types of embedded memory. PSoC combines maximum design flexibility with ease of use.
