Analog Devices Inc. MAX17616/A Evaluation Kits

Analog Devices Inc. MAX17616/A Evaluation Kits feature the MAX17616 or MAX17616A eFuse setup for 5V to 28V operation. MAX17616AEVKIT# features a 2A auto-retry current limit, while the MAX17616EVKIT# has a 7A auto-retry current limit. A 3.3V buck regulator provides a voltage for pull-ups and logic to run indicator LEDs on the board. The boards provide a header to connect a DC1613A USB to I2C/SMBus/PMBus Controller (for easy PMBus evaluation) to a computer through USB and access to LTPowerPlay. LTPowerPlay provides a handy GUI for evaluating the PMBus capabilities. The board also includes an additional external N-channel FET for reverse conduction protection.
