Amphenol / SV Microwave Board-to-Board RF Interconnects are used to transfer signals between PCBs while minimizing RF power loss. These products from Amphenol include two PCB surface-mount male connectors and a female-female adapter, also known as a "bullet". Bullets include both fixed and spring designs, making them suitable for various applications. The spring bullets compress axially while maintaining a near-constant geometry for signal transmission, and they are designed to perform electrically and mechanically within the specified compression range. These connectors are designed with minimal components to maximize signal integrity and RF performance. The Female solderless PCB edge launch connectors are 30% smaller than the standard flange allowing for a smaller footprint. These connectors can accommodate multiple PCB thicknesses and do not cause damage to the printed circuit board.
