The lineup includes horizontal, PCB, and vertical mounting types with various terminations, such as radial, screw, SMD, and through-hole. Inductance values range from 4.7μH to 100mH with several tolerance options. TE EMI Filters and Chokes are offered in a broad selection of package sizes to meet application needs.

RN EMC/EMI Chokes

TE Connectivity / Schaffner RN current-compensated EMC/EMI Chokes attenuate common-mode or asymmetric (P/N to E) interference signals via connection to an AC powerline input. Features and benefits of TE Connectivity / Schaffner's RN Series current-compensated Chokes include high saturation resistance and excellent thermal behavior, through-hole pin connections, dual-choke configuration, small compact design, multiple housing options, and custom-specific versions available upon request. These chokes offer rated currents from 0.3A to 10A, DC to 1kHz frequency, and 100kHz to 3MHz common-mode resonance frequency. Typical applications for RN Chokes are phase-angle control circuits in combination with saturating chokes, EMI input filters, suppressing equipment with no earth connection, and suppressing high interference levels.

Würth Elektronik WE-CMB Common Mode, Power Line Inductors, are ideal for power electronics and suppressing common-mode noises. Parasitics can have a significant effect on the noise attenuation and current rating of a common mode filter. Würth designed the WE-CMB series for minimal parasitic effects over its useful frequency bandwidth so it does what it is designed to do - get rid of the noise.
