High Voltage NEC 600V+ Circuit Protection

TYNxW-1600T Silicon Controlled Rectifiers (SCRs)

WeEn Semiconductors TYNxW-1600T Silicon Controlled Rectifiers (SCRs) are planar passivated devices for voltage ruggedness and reliability. The TYNxW-1600T SCRs feature high thermal cycling performance, a high voltage capability of 1600V, and a very high current surge capability. These WeEn SCRs come with a high junction operating temperature capability of +150°C. The TYNxW-1600T SCRs are available in a SOT429N (TO-247) plastic package intended for use in applications requiring very high inrush current capability. Typical applications include DC motor control, power converter, AC power control, lighting and temperature control, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
