VEMD Large PIN Photodiodes

Vishay Semiconductors VEMD Large PIN Photodiodes include visible, near-infrared, visible/near-infrared, and enhanced visible options. The devices feature a 7.5mm2 radiant sensitive area, high photosensitivity, and excellent photocurrent linearity. The Vishay VEMD Large PIN Photodiodes are AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive applications. The photodiodes are available in a 5mm x 4mm x 0.9mm package.

Sensors

Vishay offers a wide variety of sensors for applications across an expansive range of industries, including automotive, industrial, medical, and more. Sensors are devices used to measure temperature, position, distance, and proximity, and respond to light sources. Ambient light sensors are used to measure the environment’s light level. Sensing the color of an object, a gesture of a hand, the heart rate of a person, or the rate of rainfall are all possible with Vishay optical components.
