Optical Sensors

Reflective and transmissive sensors are typically used to detect the presence of an object, and to determine its directional motion and speed. VEMD Large PIN Photodiodes

Vishay Semiconductors VEMD Large PIN Photodiodes include visible, near-infrared, visible/near-infrared, and enhanced visible options. The devices feature a 7.5mm² radiant sensitive area, high photosensitivity, and excellent photocurrent linearity. The Vishay VEMD Large PIN Photodiodes are AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive applications. The photodiodes are available in a 5mm x 4mm x 0.9mm package.
