VOT8x Phototriac Optocouplers

Vishay VOT8x Phototriac Optocouplers consist of a GaAs IRLED optically coupled to a photosensitive zero crossing TRIAC packaged in a compact package. These optocouplers feature a high isolation distance on output. These optocouplers isolate low-voltage logic from 120V_AC, 240V_AC, and 380V_AC lines to control resistive, inductive, or capacitive loads, including motors, solenoids, and high-current thyristors. The VOT8x optocouplers offer 800V high off-state voltage and dV/dt of 1000V/μs to deliver high robustness and noise isolation for home appliances and industrial equipment. Typical applications include power TRIAC drivers in solid-state relays, three-phase AC equipment, motor control, industrial control, and white goods/household equipment.

CNY Series High Isolation Voltage Optocouplers

Vishay Semiconductors CNY Series High Isolation Voltage Optocouplers are category IV high voltage isolation optocouplers available in a surface mount package. The high isolation voltage SMD version optocouplers consist of a phototransistor optically coupled to a gallium arsenide infrared-emitting diode in a 4 pin plastic package. The single components are mounted opposite one another, providing a distance between input and output for high safety requirements of >3mm. These optocouplers feature high-input sensitivity, 100mA on-state current, and 800V peak off-state blocking voltage. Vishay VOT8024Ax and VOT8121Ax PhotoTRIAC Optocouplers isolate low-voltage logic from 120V_AC, 240V_AC, and 380V_AC lines to control resistive, inductive, or capacitive loads. These loads include motors, solenoids, high-current thyristors or TRIAC, and relays.
