MTCH650 & MTCH652 Projected Capacitive Drivers

Microchip Technology MTCH650 and MTCH652 Projected Capacitive Drivers are line driver / level shifter devices, with the MTCH650 providing up to 21 level shifters and the MTCH652 providing up to 19 level shifters. The MTCH650 requires only a 3-wire serial interface, latch enable (LE), and 2 capacitors. The MTCH652 offers an integrated compact boost convertor, which provides an easy-to-use solution for driving High Voltage (HV) outputs. The MTCH652 requires only a 3-wire serial interface, latch enable (LE), 2 capacitors, a PWM, and a small inductor.  The PWM is used to drive the boost and allows flexibility in duty cycle and frequency. The selectable internal Soft Start limits initial in-rush currents, preventing system brown outs.
