Type HPBA Braking Resistor Assemblies

TE Connectivity's (TE) Type HPBA Braking Resistor Assemblies are designed to increase the braking torque capability of a variable-frequency drive. This results in faster and more controlled braking for the drive and increases the braking torque of the drive system. These braking assemblies are manufactured using heavy-gauge galvanised steel with a wired terminal block and provisions for an optional thermostat. TE Type HPBA Braking Resistor Assemblies are built to withstand harsh environments while maintaining a professional design with a wide range of enclosure options. These resistors are available in several combinations of horsepower, input voltage, and duty cycle. Applications include industrial, variable-frequency drives, servo motors and drives, warehouse automation, and robotics.
