MAX22215 Motor Brake Drivers

Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated MAX22215 Motor Brake Drivers combines 36V half-bridge drivers, a 65V low-side brake-release MOSFET, and a high-accuracy Current-Sense Amplifier (CSA). These drivers feature an integrated 55V high-power demagnetization clamp that provides rapid coil demagnetization and eliminates the need for external transient suppression devices. The half-bridge FETs and brake-release NFET feature extremely low RDSON (50mΩ, typical). The MAX22215 can be controlled either through a 1MHz I2C serial interface or via CMOS logic input pins. These drivers are ideal for industrial motor brake release, robotics motor brake release, and solenoid drive.
