Schaltbau C320 1 Pole AC and Bi-Directional DC NO Contactors are compact power contactors designed for switching high AC and DC loads in demanding electrification systems. The C320 series supports bidirectional DC switching and is available for operating voltages up to 1500V, making it suitable for advanced power distribution, battery systems, and energy storage applications. C320 contactors combine high contact forces, optimized silver contacts, and low contact resistance to deliver continuous current handling up to 1200A and making currents up to 3000A. A ceramic arc chamber with generously sized air gaps supports the safe disconnection of high-power loads in either direction. PWM-controlled coil operation enables low holding power and reduced contact bounce during switching.
