Infineon Technologies EZ-USB™ 3.2 Peripheral Controllers

Infineon Technologies EZ-USB™ 3.2 Peripheral Controllers are designed to offer improved bandwidth, more I/Os, and integrated flash memory. These controllers integrate a dual-core Arm® Cortex® M4F/M0+ CPU. The EZ-USB 3.2 peripheral controllers feature a USB full-speed device debug port, USB-C® orientation detection, and seven Serial Communication Blocks (SCBs). These controllers are used in applications such as video frame grabbers, mixed reality headsets, 3D scanners, industrial automation, and machine vision.

The EZ-USB FX20 controllers offer ultra-fast USB 20Gbps and LVDS interfaces, increasing the total bandwidth up to 550% of the predecessor (17.6Gbps vs 3.2Gbps). These controllers come in a smaller PCB footprint and provide up to 5m USB passive cable support. The EZ-USB FX20 controllers feature a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 device port, integrated 512KB flash, and 1024KB buffer memory.

The EZ-USB FX10 and FX5N controllers offer ultra-fast USB 10Gbps and LVDS interfaces. These controllers provide up to 10m USB passive cable support. The EZ-USB FX10 and FX5N controllers feature up to 512KB of integrated flash and 1024KB of buffer memory.

The EZ-USB FX5 controllers offer USB 5Gbps performance with direct USB-C® connection and 10m cable support. These controllers feature 512KB integrated flash, 1024KB buffer memory, and a cryptography accelerator.
