Seeed Studio Grove Shield for micro:bit v2.0 is a plug‐and‐play grove extension board for micro:bit. The micro:bit is a pocket-sized microcontroller designed for kids and beginners, learning how to program. The Seeed Studio Grove Shield is a bridge for micro:bit and the grove system that provides hundreds of different grove modules, including a sensor, actuator, communication, display, and more. These modules broaden micro:bit's ability to create more projects easily and quickly.
The Grove Shield for micro:bit v2.0 integrates 4 grove connectors onboard and reserves extra 4 pinouts if users need more grove connectors. This shield also provides pinouts that have touch functions to build projects like fruit piano. The micro:bit can be powered by the onboard micro USB and from the grove shield as well. The Grove Shield for micro:bit v2.0 is more advanced than the previous version since the pins of the connectors are hidden. And also the electrical components can be moved from the back of the board to the front to prevent damages.
