TDK InvenSense T5848 Digital MEMS Microphone

TDK InvenSense T5848 Digital MEMS Microphone is a low noise, high acoustic overload point (AOP) I2S microphone with a 24-bit PCM output for direct connection to a broad range of SoCs. This multi-mode microphone features acoustic activity detection (AAD), an ultra-low power edge processing function that consumes as little as 20µA. The T5848's small package includes a MEMS microphone element and an impedance converter amplifier, along with an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), decimation and antialiasing filters, power management, and an industry-standard 24-bit I2S interface. The I2S interface directly connects to digital processors, such as microcontrollers and digital signal processors (DSPs), without requiring an audio codec in the system. The T5848 has a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) in all operational modes, including high quality, low power, always on, and sleep. TDK T5848 Digital MEMS Microphone comes in a compact surface-mount package.
