Vishay Semiconductors VOMHA43A Automotive High-Speed Couplers

Vishay Semiconductors VOMHA43A Automotive High-Speed Couplers are automotive‑grade optocouplers that integrate a GaAlAs infrared LED with an optically coupled photodetector and a high‑speed transistor. The photodetector is junction‑isolated from the transistor to minimize Miller capacitance effects, enhancing switching performance. With an open‑collector output, the Vishay VOMHA43A couplers allow engineers to easily tailor load conditions for compatibility with various logic families, including TTL and CMOS. A built‑in Faraday shield on the detector chip provides excellent rejection of high common‑mode transient voltages, ensuring reliable signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Engineered for demanding automotive systems, the VOMHA43A is well‑suited for communication bus isolation (such as CAN, LIN, I2C, and SPI) as well as for isolated driver applications, including intelligent power module (IPM) gate‑drive circuits.
