July 2, 2024Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, congratulates the DS PENSKE Formula E racing team for securing a double-point finish and a podium in the first race on June 29 of the doubleheader weekend. Jean-Éric Vergne clinched a stellar P3 finish, while Stoffel Vandoorne finished strong in P9. In qualifying for the second race on June 30, Vergne pushed through to win the Pole. He is now the all-time Julius Baer Pole Position winner with an incredible record of starting 17 times from P1. By scoring 30 points this weekend, the team's strong showing has bolstered their position in the team's championship standings, currently holding third place with a total of 184 points.

"Congratulations to the DS PENSKE Racing team on their incredible performance and strategy this weekend!" said Todd McAtee, Senior Vice President, Business Development for Mouser Electronics. "And special congratulations to Jean-Éric for his 17th Pole position, setting a record for the most poles won by a driver in the FE series."

Round 13 got off to a challenging start, with Vergne and Stoffel Vandoorne starting from P14 and P18, respectively. The race featured extremely close racing, which resulted in incidents that affected the dynamics of the race. However, this provided an opportunity for both drivers to push forward in a fierce fight to the finish line. For Vergne, this meant ultimately a third-place podium, and for Vandoorne, a top 10.

Round 14 saw Vergne starting at P1 and performing strongly, keeping DS Penske at the front and leading for many laps. An ill-timed safety car in the closing laps spoiled an otherwise epic drive. Vergne ultimately crossed the finish line in 5th position, contributing valuable points to the team's tally. Despite a hard-fought effort, Vandoorne finished in 11th place, narrowly missing out on points.

Mouser is supporting the DS PENSKE team for the globe-trekking 2024 season in collaboration with TTI, Inc. and valued manufacturers Molex and KYOCERA AVX. Mouser and Molex have been partnering to sponsor Formula E racing since 2015.
