Mouser Electronics and Microchip Technology Present Webinar Focusing on Cellular IoT Application Development
8 December 2022 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, has teamed up with Microchip Technology to bring the engineering community a new webinar entitled “Cellular IoT Applications.” The free live webinar will take place at 3 p.m. Central European Time on Tuesday, 13 December 2022.

In this webinar, Microchip will share how easy it is to develop cellular IoT applications by covering application development, security management and cloud connectivity. The AVR-IoT Cellular Mini development board is a complete platform that can be used to evaluate and develop IoT solutions. It features the AVR128DB48 AVR® microcontroller, ATECC608B secure element, and the Sequans Monarch 2 GM02S cellular module. Sensors and actuators can be added using the onboard Adafruit Feather compatible edge connector or Qwiic® I2C connector. Also included with the development board (which supports Amazon Web Services and Arduino) is a SIM card from Truphone.
This webinar will be hosted by Mark Patrick, Technical Marketing Manager, EMEA of Mouser Electronics, and Johan Lofstad of Microchip. Johan began his career as an intern at Microchip, working on IoT solutions, before progressing to lead the PIC and AVR IoT initiative.
