The NXP Semiconductors S32M2, available from Mouser, integrates high-voltage analog functionalities with a robust embedded microcontroller core, optimizing motor control of body and comfort applications while improving efficiency and enhancing occupant comfort. Through compatibility with the NXP S32 Automotive Platform, the S32M2 family enables seamless firmware over-the-air (FOTA) updates, software reuse, and flexibility. The S32M2 ensures high-performance and functional safety compliance with ISO 26262 up to ASIL B and supports OEM migration to smaller, lightweight and more efficient BLDC/PMSM motors for energy savings and range extension of electric vehicles.
