TDK InvenSense's IIM-42653 SmartIndustrial MotionTracking Device, Now at Mouser, Delivers Reliable Precision in Industrial Applications

The 6-axis MEMS device provides precise, reliable motion-tracking capabilities in industrial applications. The TDK InvenSense IIM-42653 SmartIndustrial MotionTracking device, now available at Mouser, integrates a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer into a compact 2.5 mm x 3 mm x 0.91 mm package. The IIM-42653, which features an operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, is 20,000g shock tolerant. The device supports an extended full-scale range of up to 32g and 4000dps, suitable for demanding industrial conditions. The IIM-42653 features a 2KBytes FIFO that reduces energy consumption by allowing the system processor to read sensor data and then switch to low-power mode. The sensor supports a highly accurate external clock input that is beneficial for robotics, tilt sensing, and other applications that require precise navigation and orientation measurements. For communication, the IIM-42653's host interface can support i3CSM, I2C, and SPI modes, with respective maximum speeds of 12.5MHz, 1MHz, and 24MHz. The I3CSM interface also supports speeds up to 25 Mbps in DDR mode. The IIM-42653 device has an operating voltage range of 1.71V to 3.6V.
The IIM-42653 is supported by the TDK InvenSense DK-42653 development kit. The DK-42653 features an onboard embedded debugger and necessary software, including InvenSense Motion Link, a GUI-based development tool, and embedded motion drivers.
