Renesas Electronics RA4L1 80MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33-Based Low-Power MCUs

Renesas RA4L1 80MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33-Based Low-Power MCUs feature low-power, 32-bit microcontrollers (MCUs) based on the Arm Cortex-M33 (CM33) core. This core includes TrustZone®, delivering a balance of low voltage operation, low power consumption, and high performance. The RA4L1 offers operation down to 1.6V, combined with a low-power standby current as low as 1.65µA. The low-power features include a segment LCD drive and an advanced security engine, as well as RTC, ADC, and timers. These Renesas MCUs integrate communications interfaces such as CAN FD, USB 2.0 FS, I2C/I3C, and low-power UARTs, making these devices ideal for industrial automation, home appliances, smart home, consumer, building/home automation, and medical/healthcare applications.

The RA4L1 series comes in a wide variety of standard LQFP and QFN package options and a range of space-saving BGA and CSP options and offers support for operating temperatures of -40°C to +125°C. The Renesas Flexible Software Package and comprehensive hardware and software development tools fully support the RA4L1 MCUs.
