Accelerating the advancement of STEM
Mouser is proud to partner with Future STEAM in supporting the Ten80 STEM Challenges, one of the nation’s top engineering programs for middle and high school students.
Student teams from across the United States and China compete in local and national events using skills they develop throughout the academic year, including science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) as well as entrepreneurship.
Through Ten80 Racing and Autonomous Electric Vehicle (AV/EV) programs, students explore how engineering performance and emerging technologies shape personal, academic, and professional pursuits. Working in collaborative teams, students apply ingenuity, critical thinking, and strong communication skills while competing in face-to-face events (virtual and in-person) and an ongoing online points race.
Students take on hands-on engineering challenges through race engineering, coding and automation, electric and autonomous vehicle systems, and design and fabrication. Teams also engage in future-ready challenges — including project management, marketing communications, community outreach, and data-driven design research—ensuring every student can play a meaningful role while developing real technical and professional skills.
With Mouser’s support, Future STEAM hosts the Ten80 National Finals, a culminating competition that celebrates the accomplishments of Ten80 students and teams and showcases the next generation of engineers and innovators.
