SFP-DD Cages & Connectors

TE Connectivity’s (TE) SFP-DD Cages and Connectors offer high-speed data transmission and better thermal management to address the demand for port density and scalability in next-generation applications. These small form-factor pluggable double-density (SFP-DD) products are developed per SFP-DD multi-source agreement (MSA) specifications. They are designed for both 28GHz NRZ and 56GHz PAM-4 protocols. The SFP-DD series offers two rows of electrical pins that can enable two-channel data transmission instead of the traditional one-channel in an SFP architecture. The components are backward compatible for easy integration and mechanically interoperable with module components from different manufacturers. They can free up more space in applications compared to QSFP28/QSFP56. TE SFP-DD Cages and Connectors are ideal for use in switches, servers, routers, storage equipment, base stations, and anywhere high-speed input/output data transmission is required.
